Liu Liangcheng’s proses contain a remarkable ＂slow＂philosophy. Based on his comprehending of time-space and death,this philosophy believes that the idea of ＂progress＂has caused the anxiousness of individuals and their losing of the meaning of life. The progress chased by the modern people is not only impossible,but also takes unbearable loses as cost. Only by reducing the speed and let the life slow down can realize a reconciliation between individual selves and the society and nature,thus to reconfirm the value of life. In addition,the ＂slow＂philosophy also constitutes a powerful critique and challenge to the idea of development in the contemporary literature.
