设计了一种集成GPS定位技术、GPRS通信技术和GIS地理信息技术于一体的车辆监控终端系统，可实现全天候G PS定位和车辆实时监控等功能。整个系统由车载端和监控中心两个部分组成。车载端以三星公司S3C2440处理器为开发平台，Linux作为嵌入式操作系统，主要负责GPS定位信息的采集。监控中心包括通信服务器、监控终端和数据库，其中通信服务器主要负责数据的接受、转发和存储，数据库主要负责数据的存储，配合监控终端进行车辆的调度监控。车载端和监控中心之间通过G PRS进行信息传输。

A vehicle monitoring terminal system w hich integrates the GPS positioning technology ,the GPRS communication technology ,and the GIS geographical information technology is designed .The designed system can perform several functions such as all‐weather GPS positioning and vehicle real‐time monitoring .There are two parts in this system ,namely vehicle‐mounted terminal and monitoring center .The vehicle‐mounted terminal is mainly in charge of collecting GPS positioning information , w hich uses the Samsung S3C2440 processor as the development platform and Linux as the embedded operating system .The monitoring center consists of the communication server ,the monitoring termi‐nal ,and the database ,where the communication server is mainly responsible for receiving ,forward‐ing ,and storing data ,w hile the database mainly is used to store data and cooperate the monitoring terminal to perform vehicle scheduling and monitoring .The information between the vehicle terminal and the monitor center is transmitted through GPRS .
