指称认知研究可分为围绕指称行为主体（即人）的认知因素所展开的研究和针对指称行为客体（即指称对象）的认知本体因素所展开的研究。围绕前者所展开的国外研究成果可分为＂心脑关系＂研究和＂心身关系＂研究。国内主体视角的指称认知研究主要围绕＂心脑关系＂研究展开。在已有研究的基础上,未来国内主体视角的指称认知研究应从借鉴对比与拓展深化这两大方面以及五个具体方向推进。

Cognitive reference studies can be classified into studies investigating the cognitive factor of referen- tial -behavior subject （human） and studies exploring the cognitive ontology of referential -behavior object （refer- ent）. The oversea studies in the first category could be classified into studies focusing on ＂mind/brain＂ relations and studies utilizing ＂mind/body＂ relations, while most of the domestic studies in the first category focus on ＂mind/ brain＂ relations. Based on the current situation of the domestic studies, future domestic cognitive reference studies from a subject perspective could be improved from two approaches, namely utilizing and comparing as well as broad- enin~ and deepening, and five concrete research directions.
