为＂前见＂正名是伽达默尔的一大贡献,然而它在布尔特曼的解释学中已经突显。任何理解总是受某种前理解的引导是布尔特曼坚信的解释学立场。解经不仅受到语言、文化等客观因素的制约,解释者的主观因素也必然渗透其中。然而,真正的理解是在此基础之上超越时间的距离,使当下与过去达成一种生命关联。所以,前理解的内涵在布尔特曼的解释学中被推向一个新的台阶,它不只涉及现成事物,而且关涉解释者的生存。

One of the main contributions of Gadamer is to defend the importance of pre-understanding. Nevertheless, pre-understanding has been focused intensively in Bultmann＇s Hermeneutics. Bultmann hermeneutically insisted that no understanding is executed without pre-understanding. All the biblical ex- egeses are unexceptionally influenced by the interpreters＇ individuality and their backgrounds. However, the genuine understanding is to overcome the time distance for a life connection between past and present. In this way the meaning of pre-understanding has been advanced in Bultmann＇s hermeneutics. Pre-under- standing is not some thing ready to use, it is directly involved in the interpreters＇ existence.
