气候变化是关涉节约的重大问题，其为转向资源节约型的发展方式和“节约正义”的实现提供了契机。气候变化怀疑论包含趋势怀疑论、归因怀疑论、影响怀疑论、解决怀疑论和含蓄怀疑论五种类型，近年来在公众中有蔓延的迹象，成为向节约型社会转型的阻滞力量之一。气候变化怀疑论的实质，从科学层面看，其陷入了相对主义的泥潭，企图以科学知识的相对确定来否定科学知识的绝对确定；从政治层面看，其与保守主义的“联姻”，意在巩固以化石燃料为基础的大工业的地位，并维持资本主义经济体系的永恒性。

From the political perspective, with the relationship to conservatism, it intends to consolidate its position as a large fossil fuel- based industry, and to maintain the eternality of the capitalist economic system.
