Rudyard Kipling was a renowned English writer in the 20 th Century,and also the first British writer to have received the Nobel Prize for Literature.However,Kipling＇s works have brought much controversy because of their connection to imperialism.Instead of paying attention to the evolvement of his imperial idea comments about Kipling have been focused on a polarized assumption of whether he is an imperialist or not.The Jungle Bookdepicts the stories of which a group of ferocious and cunning animals live with＂the Jungle Rule＂and the jungle breaks out clashes with the village.In contrast,different nations and multiple cultures in Kimcoexist with each other;we can find more pictures of reconciliation aside from minor frictions.From＂the Ruler of the Jungle＂to＂the Little Friend of all the World＂,Kipling＇s imperial ideas have experienced the progress from clash to reconciliation.
