当前地方大学存在官僚化、务虚化、平庸化等十大乱象，乱象源于地方大学自我批判缺失。一方面，地方大学自我批判先天不足，后天培育受阻；另一方面，地方大学自我批判因缺乏外部监督而旁落。事实上，自我批判之于地方大学的生存、发展和创新有重要价值，所以，亟须培育。地方大学应建立好领导班子，完善校内立法和制度建设，积极作为，对公众负责；同时，政府和社会加强对大学的外部监督，将有助于铸造地方大学的自我批判，并遏制大学乱象。

The local universities have shown ten chaoses including being bureaucratic, do-academic, hypocritical, narrowly, marketable, reed phisticated. Chaoses arise due to local university＇s loss iocre, selfish, inefficiently manage lne, pseu d and so of self-criticism. On one hand, the self-criti cism of local universities has a weak basis and is blocked when nurtured. On the other hand, such de ficiency of self-criticism in local universities is also caused by lack of external supervision. In fact, self- criticism has important value for the survival, development and innovation of local universities. To nurture self-criticism of local universities and to curb chaoses, it is imperative to establish a good uni- versity leadership team, perfect the internal legislation and system construction, act positively, be responsible for the public and to strengthen external supervision form both the government and the society.
