民族内部不同支系对所属民族的认同受多种因素的影响。通过对怒江傈僳族自治州兰坪白族普米族自治县白族支系那马人的语言、艺术形式等的调查来呈现那马人的族群认同。那马人并非不认同于白族这一民族身份,他们只是根据不同的场合情境选择突出白族身份还是那马人身份。那马人不断强调与大理白族之间的差异是其摆脱和改变群体利益边缘化的一种策略。

The ethnic community identity of different branches within an ethnic group is in[k~enced by many factors. This paper, based on the investiga- tion of language and art forms among Nama people-a branch of Bai ethnic group living in Nujiang County of Ymman Province, presents the ethnic community i- dentity of Nama people. Instead of denying the identity of Bai ethnic group, Na- ma people choose to emphasize either the identity of Bai people or that of Nama people in different circumstances. It is a strategy to continuously emphasizing the differences between those Bai people living in Dali and them to free themselves from the marginalization of their community interests.
