宗谱反映的历史是潜在的、无形的,宗谱把历史变为传统,而族规则通过意义的在场与抽离使传统道德化,如此,地方共同体得以有效地建构。这种建构主要通过建设村落、巩固社会团结、强化血缘意识、家乡观念、吸收外部因素延续宗族生命力等方式得以达成。在世代层累的群体意识中,出现了一种＂心灵的内卷化＂,对宗族精神的过度张扬某种程度上销蚀了个体存在的意义。

Genealogy is a reflection of the hidden and invisible history. It turns history into tradition which is in turn moralized by clan rules. Hence,the local community is constructed effectively mainly through building villages,consolidating social solidarity,strengthening blood consciousness and concept of home and absorbing external elements to continue clan vitality. Out of the group consciousness accumulated through generations,there appears spiritual involution and the excessive promotion of the clan spirit has degraded the significance of individual existence to some extent.
