进入21世纪，党和国家提出增强国家文化软实力、中华文化走出去的要求。传统的大学英语教学往往只注重对西方文化的输入，忽视了对中华文化的传播。通过对党和国家的政策要求、学生需求以及大学英语教师在中华文化对外传播中的作用等几个方面进行分析，对如何构建新形势下的大学英语课程体系提出了设想和建议。

After entering the 21st century, our Party and government have developed the strategies to en- hance the cultural soft power of the whole nation and promote Chinese culture to the world. Traditional College English teaching pays more attention to the introduction of western culture, but neglects carry- ing forward and promoting Chinese culture. Based on the analysis made in terms ofthe policy and re- quirements of our Party and government, students＇ needs and College English teacher＇s role in promo- ting Chinese culture to the world, this paper puts forth some conceptions and suggestions as for how to construct a new College English curriculum to meet the challenge of the new era.
