中国古代的正名思想,源远流长。孔子的《春秋》即正名的力作。随后有荀子的《正名篇》,都针对当时的时弊提出了正名的重要性。邓析子、惠施、公孙龙子等名辩家更是深加发挥,结合当时出现的一系列名实不符的现象,提出了许许多多发人深思的辩题,而且颇有马克思主义哲学方法论的意味。将这些中西哲学观进行对比,廓清其异同,意义非凡。

The ancient Chinese thought of name rectification has a long history.Confucius＇ s Spring was the master piece of such works.Then,there was Xun Zi＇s Name Rectification.They proposed the importance of name rectification for the ill practices at their time.Other famous scholars as Deng Xizi,Hui Shi,Gongsun Longzi,combined with the misnomer phenomenon,went even farther on the issue as to put forward many thought-provoking arguments,which had rather a sense of Marxist philosophy and methodology.It is of great significance to compare the Western and Eastern philosophy,and clarify their similarities and differences.
