计算机辅助语言学习(CALL)是应用语言学一门非常年轻的分支学科,也是一个十分活跃的研究领域,目前针对CALL的研究呈现出多元化的趋势。通过分析CALL领域5本国际学术期刊论文的关键词发现,近5年该研究领域主要围绕8个主题展开:CALL的理论基础、CALL与新兴技术、CALL与学习者、CALL与教师发展、CALL与语言习得、CALL的设计开发、CALL与测试评价、CALL与教学方法。近5年来,社会文化理论是CALL领域引用最频繁的理论基础;基于计算机的沟通技术是该领域研究最广泛的新兴技术;以学习者自主学习能力为代表的学习者个体差异研究是CALL领域的研究重点;CALL在促进学习者的语言发展方面,最受研究者关注的是学习者词汇与写作能力的提升。

Computer-assisted language learning (CALL) is a young branch of applied linguistics and also a vibrant area with dynamic research perspectives. This paper adopts word frequency analysis method to examine research trends in CALL based on articles published by five international CALL journals from 2010 to 2014. The results show that there are eight research foci in the field of CALL, namely, fimdamental theories for CALL, CALL and emerging technologies, CALL and learners, CALL and teacher education, CALL and language acquisition, CALL design and development, CALL and test evaluation, CALL and pedagogies. Findings further indicate that sociocultural theory is the most frequently cited theory; computer-mediated communication has attracted the most research attention in the application of CALL; the research on individual differences has become one of the hottest topics in CALL. Finally, the research also points to the affordance of CALL in learners' language acquisition, particularly their development in vocabulary and writing.
