本文第一则将曾侯乙简25、127旧释“裛”之字改释为“ ”；第二则把《九店楚简》56号墓简36旧释“幽子”之字改释作“学”，读为“幼”，简文读作“长者吉，幼者不吉”；第三则将《九店楚简》56号墓简48旧释“左右”合文改释为“右左”合文，“右左”与“左右”同义，为并列式同素逆序同义词，“凡室，不可以盖右左之墙”中的“盖右左之墙”犹睡虎地简“筑右序”、“筑左序”。
