众所周知,金融发展对经济增长存在一定的促进作用,文章采用1993—2012年河南省和湖南省的时间序列数据对两者之间的关系进行实证研究。研究结果表明,河南省和湖南省金融发展均对经济增长有正面的影响,其中湖南省金融发展对经济增长的促进程度较高。在金融发展和经济增长偏离长期均衡关系时,河南省能够以较快的速度进行调整并回到均衡状态。

In order to verify the financial development has positive effects on the economic growth, this paper makes an empirical study on the time series data between the Henan and Hunan from 1991 to 2012. The results show that the financial developments of Henan and Hunan Province have positive effects on the economic growth of these regions. Hunan has a higher degree to promote financial development on economic growth. However, while the relationship of financial development and economic growth deviate from the long-term equilibrium, Henan can adjust faster, and return to equilibrium soon.
