Yellow Emperor; the south of Shanxi Province; salt pond; the origin of civilization
公元前3000年前后,炎、黄两部落分别从今陕西西部、北部向东迁移,黄帝部落东迁到今晋南地区。晋南自然环境优越,尤有天然盐湖之利,此后这里便成了黄帝部落活动的中心地区。黄帝族取得涿鹿和阪泉之战的胜利,促进了中原地区不同血缘关系氏族、部落的大融合,形成了以黄帝为首的中原酋邦。中原地区经济社会稳定发展,文明因素不断涌现,为中华文明起源和形成作出了开创性的贡献。

Around 3000 BC,the two tribes of Yan and Huang respectively migrated eastward from the west and north of today＇s Shaanxi and the tribe of Yellow Emperor moved to today＇s south of Shanxi Province,where there was superior natural environment,especially the advantage of natural salt lake and where than became the central area of the Yellow Emperor tribe,which achieved the victory of the battles of Zhuolu and Banquan,promoted the integration of the clans and tribes with different consanguineous relations in Central Plains and the formation of the Central Plain Chiefdom led by the Yellow Emperor.The stable development of the economic society in the Central Plains and constantly emerged civilization factors made pioneering contributions to the origin and formation of Chinese civilization.
