高校学术生产数量繁荣有着极其复杂的制度原因。无论外在制度还是内在制度,对学术生产数量繁荣均有关键性影响;其影响程度虽因功能性差异而不同,但二者同是学术生产的重要资源依赖。而学术资源具有促进学术生产数量增长的显性功能,可以说,高校学术生产的本质就是一切学术资源的总和。在资源配置过程中,由于运行机制的某些失范,导致了学术制度功能的自我否定,引发了功利性学术惯习的产生,导致了学术资源的无序竞争和产品的粗制滥造,催生了学术生产数量繁荣背后的种种危机,由此造成了制度性的资源浪费。抑制制度性的资源浪费,需要大学组织不断创新与其场域位置相匹配的学术制度。

Academic production prosperity in quantity is largely due to the complicated academic system. Either internal system or external system plays a key role in academic production prosperity in quantity. Although the level of influence differs due to the functional difference, yet the two systems, inner and external, both buttress the academic production. Academic resource has dominant function for promoting the increase in academic production quantity. In other words, the essence of academic production is the sum of all the academic resources. In the process of resources distribution, the anomie of operation mechanism leads to the self denial of the academic system function, causes the utilitarian academic habit, results in disorderd competition of academic resources and shoddy academic production, and accelerates the emergence of crisis in academic production. Moreover, it results in the institutional waste of the resources. It takes the continuous innovation of college organization and the academic system matching its field position to curb the institutional wasting of resources.
