A temperature field, aroud upper and lower sides of the glass ribbon at variable temperature rate in tin bath , was fabricated with one-dimensional heat conduction differential equation . The temperature falling rate close to double sides of the ribbon while passing through tin bath was also deduced by means of thermal balance . It can be used as reference for discriminating wether the thermal insulation construction is in keeping with the demands of the technology .
