The contents of the skills competition in vocational colleges in China are gradually close to the development direction and reflect the key technological problems of the professional field, and they play a more and more obvious part in the orientation of running a school and professional development. The organization and undertaking of the skills competition is the key to the successful completion of it. The paper discusses the implementation of undertaking a competition and summary after a competition of the provincial selection competition for a nationwide vocational skills competition.
