The automatic management for earthquake precursor technology system is beneficial to efficient operation of the system. Taking Shanxi Seismic Precursor Network as an example, shell scripts based on Suse Linux are written to realize self-starting of database and management system; Crontab is used to make database cold backup regularly; Remote starting or stopping of earthquake precursor technology system under Windows is realized through Sharp SSH. Application test in Shanxi Seismic Precursor Center has good effect. Therefore, it can provide a reference for other provincial seismological bureaus and stations to realize automatic management for earthquake precursor technology system.
