李贽是明代著名的思想家、文学批评家 ,他在《忠义水浒传序》中论述了《水浒传》的创作动机、主题和功用 ,当中也牵涉到一些小说理论 ,其论点都具有一定的合理性 ,能以新颖的角度和深刻的论述 ,引领读者探讨《水浒传》和小说文体的内涵 ,其主张对明清小说的发展也产生了不少影响.因此 ,《忠义水浒传序》不仅对《水浒传》研究有重要的意义 ,在古代小说批评史上的价值也不可忽视.

Li Zhi was a famous philosopher and literary critic in Ming Dynasty.In"The introductory of The Water Margin" ,he discussed the writing objectives ,themes and functions of "The Water Mar-gin" ,which related to some novel theories.His views had certain rationality ,through the new angles and deep discussions ,and he was able to lead the readers to explore the connotation of"The Water Mar-gin" and the novel's style ,and his views also had a lot of influence on the development of novels in Ming and Qing Dynasty.Therefore ,"The introductory of The Water Margin" is not only of great sig-nificance on the research of"The Water Margin" ,but of great value on the history of ancient novel criti-cism ,which should not be ignored.
