提高英语学习的效度,在很大程度上取决于所掌握的英语词汇的量.通常说某某英语很优秀,总是包括他能认识和掌握相当数量的英语词汇的意思.这里所说的"掌握",是指"召之即来,来着即用"的主动词汇,在会话、造句、写作中能够具体应用.然而,不能回避的事实是有很多同学对所要掌握的单词,或记不住,或记得快忘得快.出现这种情况,原因可能是多方面的,但就外语教学来讲,传授知识的方法是否符合记忆规律,是一种重要原因.明白了这一点,有助于我们大大提高教学成效,提高学生学习外语的兴趣,进而对外语学习的投入能够起到事半功倍的作用.

The validity of English learning largely depends on the amount of English vocabulary.
