The article makes an analysis on the probe wearing problem of online automatic ultrasonic flaw detec-tion device in Shaogangˊs 3 450 mm medium plate production line,investigates the wearing causes and repair possibili-ties of the probe according to the UST probe detection principle and design,raises the relevant repair solution. The re-pair effectively improves detection accuracy and hit ratio,satisfying the production requirements,creating remarkable economic benefits.
