道教“形论”思想经历了从经验论的“真形”观到本体论的“真形”观、由本体论的“真形”观转向心性论的“真形”观、从理论化的“真形”观走向仪式化的“真形”观三次发展飞跃,并以此塑造和支撑起自身的神仙信仰及其实践体系。通过对道教“形论”思想的考察,可以充分证明:与那些祛除了“形”而追求纯粹、不灭之“神”的宗教不同,道教是以“形”统摄“神”,把“形无灭”作为终极追求目标并演绎“形”的独特宗教。
道教“形論”思想經歷瞭從經驗論的“真形”觀到本體論的“真形”觀、由本體論的“真形”觀轉嚮心性論的“真形”觀、從理論化的“真形”觀走嚮儀式化的“真形”觀三次髮展飛躍,併以此塑造和支撐起自身的神仙信仰及其實踐體繫。通過對道教“形論”思想的攷察,可以充分證明:與那些祛除瞭“形”而追求純粹、不滅之“神”的宗教不同,道教是以“形”統攝“神”,把“形無滅”作為終極追求目標併縯繹“形”的獨特宗教。

Abstract Taoist theory of form or true form has experienced three stages of development First,the empirical notion of true form developed into an ontological concept,and then it was transformed into a concept of theory of mind/soul.Finally,it evolves into a practical concept of ritualization,producing and consolidating Taoist belief of immortality and its pattern of practice.Obviously,there is essential difference between Daoism and those religions which only seek the immortality of the soul.Daoism is a unique religion that aspires after immortality of the true form or life as a whole.
