Zhu Yunlai’ s Woman Operas by Zhang Dai made a textual research on the family troupe ganger in late Ming dynasty Zhu Yunlai, including his official career, character and the characteristic of his family troupe. It also analyzes the subtle relation between Qi Biaojia and Zhu Yunlai as well as the esquires’ social relations in Southern Yangtze River through two correspondences from Qi Biaojia to Zhu Yunlai.
