文化是人类实践的基础条件和成果表现，是引领社会进步的重要力量。新岭南文化是岭南文化的传承与创新，本文运用SWOT的分析模型，对其引领广州新型城市化建设作了整体分析。基于此分析，本文认为应该传承岭南文化以深化广州新岭南文化城市内涵，建设世界文化名城以增强新岭南文化竞争力，这样才能实现新岭南文化对广州新型城市化建设的引领作用。

Culture is the foundation and achievements representation of practice, and also the leading force of social progress. New Lingnan Culture is the inheritance and innovation of Lingnan culture. This article, through a SWOT analysis, studies how to promote new urbanization by new Lingnan Culture. We should inherit the Lingnan Culture to deepen the cultural connotation of Guangzhou and construct a world famous cultural city to enhance the competi-tive power of New Lingnan Culture based on this analysis, so as to realize the leading affect of New Lingnan Culture for new urbanization construction of Guangzhou .
