随着高职高专课程教学改革的深入开展,英语课程教学更加注重培养学生的学习能力、实践能力、就业能力和可持续发展能力。新的教学目标所引起的教学改革需要一种与之相适应的教学评价体系。笔者在为期一年的英语实践教学基础上,对“以评促学”教学模式进行了可行性研究。以评促学,可以让学生从考试的恐惧和厌烦中走出来,以主动、积极的状态面对英语学习,建立学习自信,提高语言运用能力,从而实现高职英语教学目标。

With the development of curriculum reform at vocational colleges , the teaching purposes focuses on developing students'ability of learning ,practice ,employment as well as sustainable development .A new evaluation system of teaching should be explored to meet the demands of educational reform .This paper makes a feasibility study on the application of forma‐tive assessment in English teaching ,according to one-year practical teaching in an experimental class .Formative assessment in English teaching can help students out of the fear and distaste for English study ,and drive them to study with positive atti‐tude and self‐confidence so that their communicative competence can be improved and the teaching objectives be realized .
