城市开敞空间是风景园林规划设计的重要研究领域，然而关于城市开敞空间体系的构建或某一外部空间的营造，都不能仅仅孤立地从开敞空间本身入手。风景园林专业的设计教育需让学生充分了解城市设计的相关理论知识，熟练掌握城市骨架和城市肌理的组织技巧，使其知识体系和设计思路走向“综合”，并在此基础上渗入景观思维模式，从而达到“提升”其创造性设计能力的最终目的。

Urban open space is an important study field for the discipline of landscape architecture. When shaping urban open space system or any exterior space, however, we cannot only take the open space itself into consideration. It is necessary for landscape architecture education to let students fully understand the theories of urban design and design skills of urban framework and development pattern. Thus, the student’s knowledge structures and design approaches will move towards the integrated model. On this basis, the landscape thinking method should be introduced into urban design, so as to achieve the goal of enhancing student’s creative ability in design.
