作为大众传播媒介的影视，已经渗透到生活的各个方面。影视强大的传播功能也受到了作家的重视，作家在创作时会有意无意地向影视靠拢。丹·布朗的小说在全球取得成功，原因除了悬念小说自身所具有的特殊吸引力外，还在于作家把电影化叙事运用到小说创作中去。丹?布朗小说的电影化叙事特征主要有三个方面：电影化的叙事结构、闪回技巧的叙事运用和蒙太奇的叙事风格。

Movies and televisions as a mass media of communication have permeated all aspects of social life. The powerful communication functions from movies and televisions have been attached importance by the writers. The writers tend to draw close to the movie and television programs. Dan Brown’s novels have achieved success in the world just because he applies the cinematic narrative approach to the novel writing in addition to its particular attraction from the suspense novels. The major cinematic narrative features of Dan Brown’s novels are made up of three aspects: cinematic narrative structure, application of flashback narration and the narrative technique of montage.
