由于我国医疗保险制度在实际运行中的“现收现付”形式，其可持续发展问题往往不受重视。实际上，可持续发展问题关系到医疗保险制度的选择、运行与发展。本文就我国医疗保险可持续发展的重要性和必要性展开探讨，并从可持续发展的角度重新审视社会医疗保险政策在基本方向、制度模式、多层次发展、应对老龄化，以及医疗卫生与医疗保险关系等五个方面的关键问题。

Because of taking a way of "pay-as-you-go" in the health insurance system of China, the sustainable issues did not taken into account. In fact, the sustainable issues are related to the selection, operation and development of health insurance system. In this paper, we started from the importance and necessity of health insurance sustainable development, and then, re-examine fi ve important aspects of social health insurance policies, which are the direction of development, system mode, multi-level development, dealing with population aging, and the relationship between health care and health insurance.
