煤矿安全管理是研究的热点问题，随着中国经济的波动，煤炭价格的变化也引起了高度的重视。通过对煤炭价格和煤矿死亡人数的年数据作统计分析，发现煤炭价格和煤矿死亡人数存在显著的负相关关系。文章对煤炭价格和煤矿死亡人数这两组数据进行一阶差分，发现差分后的两组数据均是平稳的，再通过协整检验和格兰杰因果关系检验得出煤炭价格是煤矿死亡人数的致因，进行回归分析，最后对煤炭价格与煤矿死亡人数之间产生影响的原因进行探讨，并提出相关的政策建议。

The safety management of coal mines is a hot issue for researchers .With the fluctuation of Chinese economy ,the changing prices of coal have received considerable concerns of the public .T his study made a statistical analysis of the annual data of coal prices and deaths in coal mine accidents ,w hich sugges‐ted that there existed remarkable negative correlation between them .In addition ,it analyzed the two groups of data by using first‐order difference and found that the post‐data were steady .Moreover ,the study em‐ployed co‐integration test and Granger causality test to check the data and came to the conclusion through regression analysis method that coal prices were closely related to the death numbers in coal mine acci‐dents .T hen it discussed the causes about it and proposed some suggestions for policy‐makers .
