张爱玲的“苍凉”诗学是她作品中一以贯之的东西。单从对时代的“惘惘中的威胁”来看，只要是对世事怀揣一份敬畏之心就都会有着一份苍凉之感。张爱玲的“苍凉”诗学源自于她作为一位作家所独有的穿透时代的睿智以及她传奇的经历，人往往是只有经历多了才会从自己所在的环境中抽离出来俯瞰整个时代。张爱玲的“苍凉”就是这种抽离的态度，似乎是永远站在别处看着故事中的人物、故事中的世界，因为这样才会总像是个老者那样感叹世事，那份“苍凉”侧重的是启示。
