由于风电出力特性及电力系统运行约束等限制,电网接入大量风电时将会导致大量弃风.对风电与抽水蓄能协调运行以减少电网弃风的方式进行研究,在分析导致电网弃风的主要因素的基础上,充分考虑抽水蓄能的运行特性,以电网弃风最小为优化目标,建立风电和抽水蓄能协调运行的混合整数规划模型.基于实际电力系统的风电出力和负荷数据,在IEEE 30节点系统中对风电与抽水蓄能协调运行方式进行模拟.结果表明,所提出的优化模型能有效地模拟风电与抽水蓄能协调运行的过程;风电与抽水蓄能的协调运行方式对减少电网弃风具有显著的作用;对具有一定风电装机容量的电网,存在最优的抽水蓄能容量与之协调运行,使得电网弃风最小.

Integrating large amounts of wind energy into power system may cause wind curtailment due to wind power output characteristics and system operational constraints. In this paper, the impacts of coordinating with pumped storage on wind curtailment mitigation are studied. By analyzing factors inducing wind curtailment and taking the operational characteristics of pumped storage into consideration, a mixed integer programming model with optimization objective of minimizing wind curtailment was formulated to study this problem. With wind power and load data from real system, simulations were carried out with the modified IEEE 30-bus system, results show that the proposed optimization model simulates the coordination of wind and pumped storage effectively, wind curtailment is significantly decreased by adding pumped storage into the power system. There exists an optimal capacity of pumped storage to make the whole wind curtailment minimal.
