The paper gives a solution for solving the difficulties in assembly and disassembly of runner rocker arm and pivot during the maintenance of No.2 and No.4 Units of Dahua hydropower station, which is also applied during the maintenance of No.3 Unit. The practices show that the use of new lifting tool during the maintenance not only im-proves the work efficiency by two times, but also reduces the labor intensity, which greatly saves the maintenance time.
