临终关怀作为一门新兴的学科，在全世界引起了广泛的关注，许多国家纷纷在本国发展临终关怀事业。自1974年美国首家临终关怀医院建立以来，美国临终关怀产业已经发展了40年整，有了较为全面的发展。文章分析了美国临终关怀服务的发展历程及现状，总结了其特点，提出了我国临终关怀服务的不足及美国的启示。
臨終關懷作為一門新興的學科，在全世界引起瞭廣汎的關註，許多國傢紛紛在本國髮展臨終關懷事業。自1974年美國首傢臨終關懷醫院建立以來，美國臨終關懷產業已經髮展瞭40年整，有瞭較為全麵的髮展。文章分析瞭美國臨終關懷服務的髮展歷程及現狀，總結瞭其特點，提齣瞭我國臨終關懷服務的不足及美國的啟示。

As an emerging discipline, hospice care has attracted wide attention in the world, many countries developed hospice care programs at home one after another. Since 1974 , the United States established the first hospice care program; the hospice care industry has developed for 40 years in the USA, which has turned into a comparatively comprehensive one. This paper analyzed the development of hospice care in the United States, summarized its characteristics and put forward the enlightenments for China since we are now lack of hospice care in China.
