长期以来大学英语读写课重视基本的英语阅读能力的培养和强调与应试有关的阅读技能训练,忽视了较高层次的学术阅读能力,如文献查找和信息利用、深度阅读以及批判性阅读能力等。在探讨学术阅读能力及其构成要素的基础上,本文重点分析大学生学术阅读能力欠缺的原因,以及大学英语读写课如何提高大学生的学术阅读能力。

In College English Reading and Writing course, emphasis has long been given to cultivating some basic reading abilities and developing some reading skills necessary for taking various English examinations, while less importance has been attached to some high-level academic reading abilities such as deep reading, interactive reading and critical reading. On the basis of discussing academic reading ability and its necessary ingredients, this paper attempts to analyze the reasons for college students'lack of academic reading ability and put forward some methods and suggestions for improving their academic reading ability in College English Reading and Writing course.
