The medical care of navy fleets during a long convoying has the following characteristics:Small medical care room, few medical staff, diversified diseases, high incidence rate of sudden medical events.The med-ical staff in fleets should be able to make diagnosis like general practitioners and give treatment to all kinds of disea-ses based on clinical experiences.The authors proposed some suggestions as follows:paying much attention to med-ical care work, strengthening cooperation of different departments, bringing rational and scientific drug and medical materials, arranging special people responsible for medical materials, carrying some medical books, checking and maintaining the medical equipment before the mission, training the medical staff so as to know own responsibility.
