国际一流学术期刊的主编和编委拥有巨大的学术影响力，其分布和变化可以反映学科发展的总体格局和趋势。本研究对76种SSCI地理学期刊及其主编编委进行了全面分析，发现：（1）人文地理学主要国际期刊以及在期刊担任主编编委职务的学者均呈现英美为中心的分布格局，英语国家的明星学者和研究机构占压倒性优势；（2）亚洲地理学发展呈现出崛起之势，其中新加坡、香港表现尤为突出；（3）有部分华人学者在人文地理学领域获得认可，同时担任多个期刊的主编、编委；（4）大陆学者中担任期刊主编编委人数增长明显，并逐渐赶超港台。从主编和编委的分布可以看到，国际人文地理学界依然由欧美所主导，但是随着包括中国大陆在内的亚洲国家和地区的迅速崛起，有可能改变这一格局。

The chief editors and the editorial board members of the top inter-national academic journals have huge academic influence in theirresearch fields. The distribution of these people among different institutions and re-gions can reflect the global pattern of the research area. This studyundertook an overall analysis of the chief editors and editorial board members of 76 SS-CI-indexed journals in geography. Several patterns and trends in the human ge-ography research circle are identified. Firstly, the leading international journals in human geography and the scholars serving asthe chief editors and editorial board members of these journals are concentrated in the UK and US. The star scholars and institutions are overwhelmingly fromthe English-speaking countries. Secondly, Asian countries and regions have climbed up quickly. Sin-gapore and Hong Kong are doing quite well. Thirdly, some Chinese scholars have been recognized in this field and they serve as the editors or editorial board members in several journal. Fourthly, with the rapid growing of scholars from mainland China serving as the top journal editors or editorial board members, the gap between mainland China and Hong Kong and Taiwan has been narrowed sig-nificantly. Although the Anglo-American-countries are still in a dominant po-sition in human geography research area globally, the pattern may change in the near futureas Asian geographers are rising quickly.
