The installation of large span steel truss is often affected by the construction site, the tower crane lifting capacity, construction period and cost. Combined with the construction requirements of different span steel truss in Hefei MIXC, a special kind of sliding frame was designed,which used the sliding guide rail setting on both sides of the support structure to slide the different span and width steel truss. Through the engineering application, it proved that the sliding frame construction was safe, which saved the construction period and reduced cost.
