In the operation of the automatic grabbing beam of gantry crane in Gongzui Hydropower Station , difficulties in the connection and disconnection of dowels are frequently encountered .Thus, several renovation advices on the automat-ic grabbing beam are proposed .After the renovation , the reliability of the device is improved and the safety of the work-ers is ensured .In addition, issues that should be noted in the operation are presented .
