以龙不离母为主题的龙母传说，在清代雍正朝就已形成并广为流传，并形成了龙母信仰，是烟台文登地区孝文化的代表。每年农历三月初三龙母诞辰之日，文登地区回龙山等地都会举办盛大的庙会，期间举办龙母祭祀、龙母宴、为父母祈福等文化活动。龙母传说树立了李龙王的孝子形象，突出体现其对母爱的回报，对新时期农村孝文化建设有着积极的影响。

이룡불리모위주제적룡모전설，재청대옹정조취이형성병엄위류전，병형성료룡모신앙，시연태문등지구효문화적대표。매년농력삼월초삼룡모탄신지일，문등지구회룡산등지도회거판성대적묘회，기간거판룡모제사、룡모연、위부모기복등문화활동。룡모전설수립료리룡왕적효자형상，돌출체현기대모애적회보，대신시기농촌효문화건설유착적겁적영향。
The legend of Longmu with the theme of dragon never being separated from mother had been formed during emperor Yongzheng's reign in the Qing Dynasty and widely circulated , and formed Longmu worship , which presents the culture of filial piety in Wendeng areas .On every March 3 rd of the lunar calendar , the birthday of Longmu,on mount Huilong and other places in Wendeng areas a grand temple fair would be held ,during which worship for Longmu , Longmu feast , blessing for parents and other cultural activities are organized .The legend of Longmu set Dragon King Lee a dutiful son , and highlighted his return to maternal love , which has a positive influence on the construction of the culture of filial piety in rural areas .
