The target of college English teaching should not be the accumulation of knowledge;instead, it aims to enhance students' autonomous learning ability which will benefit them for life. Therefore, the traditional teaching model with teachers as the center needs to be transformed into a student-centered model, a flipped classroom, in which the teachers' role will exert a direct influence upon the increase of students' autonomous learning a-bility.
