目前，“跨太平洋伙伴关系协议”（TPP）的谈判已经接近尾声，它可能为全球贸易和投资建立新规则，减少并逐步消除关于商品、服务和农产品市场的传统准入壁垒，在公平竞争、直接投资、劳动和环境标准以及国有企业等领域设立标准和规则，有利于实现在亚太经合组织内关于自由贸易和投资的长期目标。尽管在美日市场准入谈判、知识产权、国有企业等方面还存在争议，但作者认为，TPP为美国带来的好处远大于失业成本，而且能为工人、中小企业、农民等弱势群体提供更强大的保护。

The“Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement”(TPP) negotiation is nearing completion. It may be a new rule for Global trade and investment, which will reduce and gradually eliminate the traditional entry barriers on goods,services and agricultural products,establish standards and rules on fair competition,direct investment,labor and environmental standards and state-owned enterprises, and be propitious to the long-term goal of free trade and in-vestment in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation. Despite the disputes on US-Japan market access negotiations,in-tellectual property rights, state-owned enterprises and other aspects, but the author believes that the benefits of TPP for the United States is far greater than the cost of unemployment, and will provide more protection for workers, small and medium enterprises,farmers and other vulnerable groups.
