艺术设计是一门新兴的艺术门类,他的审美标准由于受社会文化、经济发展等诸多方面的影响而产生了不同的审美标准,从而独立为一门艺术学科.而这些审美标准都来自于视觉感官的传达,艺术形象一直作为人类相互交流与跨时代交流的实物载体,在艺术设计逐步独立的今天,我们通俗地把这些形象称为视觉艺术.该文对视觉形象这个新兴的事物从基本概念和构思方面仔细分析,总结了其在艺术设计中的重要地位.

Art design is an independent branch of art science, its research content and service objects don't in traditional arts. It relates to many aspects of social, cultural, economic, market, science and technology factor, its esthetic standard also along with the change of these factors. These aesthetic standard from to convey a sense of vision, to today from the beginning of human culture and humanity through their own to create a visual image to convey information, has been among the people to communicate with each other the basic means. These visual images are what we call visual arts today. This paper expounds the importance of visual image in art design by the conception of visual image and the conception of visual design.
