本文主要以重铬酸钾法测定CODcr的废液为研究对象，从耗能方面研究从而确定最佳的实验条件来回收废液中的银。另一方面要利用回收的银循环使用于CODcr测定，比较回收银和市场分析纯银用于CODcr测定的测定效果。结果表明氯化银沉淀法能回收纯度较高的银并且回收率高，这种方法具有方法简易、操作简便、设备简单、经济效益显著等优点，很适合实验室或小型企业推广应用。
