The impact of non-linear passive components intermodulation products caused by the quality of com-munication is serous.Based on the diode characteristics, the mechanism of passive intermodulation is analyzed.The effect of passive intermodulation in mobile communications is discussed.Theoretical analysis shows that intermodula-tion in GSM900 system can decrease the performance of receivers.In order to accurately measure the intermodulation products, an effective passive intermodulation test programs is presented, which can accurately measure the low power quantity of intermodulation.
