目的:评价 VEGF 在食管鳞癌组织中的表达情况及其与相关临床病理参数之间的关系。方法:取265例资料完整的食管鳞癌术后切除标本为研究对象,免疫组化方法检测 VEGF、EGFR、COX -2等相关蛋白的表达。采用χ2检验评估 VEGF 的表达水平与不同临床病理参数、EGFR 及 COX -2表达水平之间的关系。结果:VEGF 蛋白在食管鳞癌组织中的阳性表达率和高表达率分别为87.9%(233/265)和57.7%(153/265)。VEGF 蛋白的高表达与食管鳞癌分期、淋巴结转移、外膜浸润、血管侵犯、EGFR 表达及 COX -2表达均具有统计学相关性。结论:食管鳞癌组织中 VEGF 蛋白的表达水平与肿瘤分期及侵袭和浸润可能密切相关,可作为预测其生物学行为的重要参考指标。

Objective:To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and its relation-ship with clinicopathological characteristics in esophageal squamous cell cancer. Methods:Tissue samples of primary tumors from 265 esophageal squamous cell cancer patients undergoing curative surgical resections were immunohisto-chemically detected for VEGF,epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)and cyclooxygenase - 2(COX - 2),etc. The correlation between the expression of VEGF and clinicopathological characteristics were analysed. Results:The positive expression rate and elevated expression rate of VEGF in esophageal squamous cell cancer were 87. 9% and 58. 1% ,respectively. The elevated expression of VEGF was statistically correlated with TNM stage,lymphatic metasta-sis,serosal invasion,vascular invasion,EGFR expression and COX - 2 expression. Conclusion:The VEGF expression level in esophageal squamous cell cancer might be associated with tumor stage as well as invasion and be served as an important reference index predicting its biological behavior.
