四川盆地是中国著名的红层盆地,其中由侏罗系和白垩系地层为主,构成了大量的丹霞地貌和假丹霞地貌.由于顶平身陡的地貌特点,为南宋军民所利用,在上构筑了坚固的抗蒙城寨. 它们星罗棋布于盆地内,这些军事堡垒的坚固,大大延缓了南宋灭亡的时间. 它们的遗迹成为四川盆地一项宝贵的旅游资源.
四川盆地是中國著名的紅層盆地,其中由侏囉繫和白堊繫地層為主,構成瞭大量的丹霞地貌和假丹霞地貌.由于頂平身陡的地貌特點,為南宋軍民所利用,在上構築瞭堅固的抗矇城寨. 它們星囉棋佈于盆地內,這些軍事堡壘的堅固,大大延緩瞭南宋滅亡的時間. 它們的遺跡成為四川盆地一項寶貴的旅遊資源.

Sichuan Basin is a famous red basin in China. It has many Danxia Landforms and Artificial Danxia Landforms,formed with Jurassic and Cretaceous system mainly and featured with flat tops and steep slopes. And these landforms were used to build military castles as strong resistance strongholds against the Mongolian military in the Southern Song Dynasty. These military castles spread all over Sichuan Basin. Due to their indestructibility,the castles slowed down the dooming of the Southern Song Dynasty. These historical castles are valuable tourism resource in Sichuan Basin.
