在大学生选择专业越来越注重就业导向的今天，历史专业越来越受到冷落。通过课堂讨论和议题设定，把历史与现实结合起来，以此激活学生的现实关怀，让他们明白历史对于现实的重要意义，从而改变“历史是毫无用处的学科”的看法，不失为提高历史专业受欢迎程度的一个重要途径。

To reverse declining popularity of history among college students who are more and more vocation-oriented when choosing a major,an important way is to awaken them to the significance of history in reality by acti-vating their civic spirit through topic discussions inserted in lectures. By connecting past with present,this discus-sion would,to some extent,eliminate ingrained prejudice against history which is widely deemed useless.
