研发投入主要是通过影响技术创新、经济增长、产业结构、就业结构等,而间接地影响城市化进程的。论文基于中国287个地级及以上城市2001—2011年期间的面板数据,运用静态面板模型、工具变量法和两步系统的计量方法进行经验分析,发现研发投入对我国人口城市化、土地城市化和社会城市化均产生显著的正面效应。因此,我国应该加大研发投入,促进技术创新和人才不断在城市聚集,提升产业结构,尤其是第三产业在经济发展中的地位和功能,以加快经济增长和城市化进程。

R&D indirectly affect the process of urbanization mainly through impacting on technological in-novation, economic growth, industrial structure, and employment structure.Based on the Panel data of 287 cities with the prefecture level and above of China from 2001 to 2011 , and using the measurement method of static panel data model, instrumental variables and two step system in the empirical analysis, the results of this essay are that R&D have significant positive effect on the population urbanization, land urbanization and community urbanization.Therefore, China should increase investment in R&D to pro-mote technological innovation and talents agglomerating in the city constantly, and upgrade the industrial structure, especially the status and function of the third industry in economic development, so that speed up the economic growth and urbanization development.
