在侧翻事故中，客车上部结构强度应旨在确保为乘员提供足够的生存空间。通过大量侧翻试验结果分析，提出了侧翻试验中客车上部结构强度存在的一些问题；在此基础上采用仿真技术进行仿真模拟分析，揭示了侧面结构立柱变形特性，并针对客车上部结构强度存在的共性问题，提出了重点加强车辆前部侧面立柱强度可有效提高整车上部结构强度的改进措施。

In the rollover accidents, strength of the superstructure of bus should be designed to provide enough space for the occupants. Through a large number of rollover test result analysis, this paper puts forward several problems of the superstruc-ture strength of bus, and carries out simulation analysis on the basis of the simulation technology, reveals the deformation char-acteristics of the side pillar structure, and aiming at the common problems of the superstructure strength, puts forward the im-provement measures that to strengten the front side pillar strength can effectively improve the superstructure strength of the bus.
